Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos Guide

About this guide

What this site is

A reference guide for Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos, the 2026 remaster of the 1999 platformer. It exists because the game launched on 29 October 2026 with 37 achievements, five named Guardian fights and a crystal economy, and almost none of that is explained in one place.

This is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with Argonaut Games, Titanium Studios or any platform holder, and it does not speak for them.

Where the facts come from

Every claim on the site traces back to one of four sources:

SourceWhat it provides
Steam store data for app 4198360Name, developer, publisher, release date, price, platforms, languages, PC requirements, categories
Steam global achievement statsThe 37 achievement names, their requirements and completion rates
Argonaut Games store description and news postsStory, villages, Guardians, vehicles, Croc2pedia and documentary contents
Official Steam screenshots and trailer framesAll imagery on the site

Nothing on the site is invented to fill a gap. Where the public material does not cover something — a full level list, collectible totals, exact console prices — the page says what is known and stops there.

How the numbers are checked

The achievement percentages are pulled from Steam's global stats and stamped with the date they were read; the table on the achievements page says 31 October 2026 and will be re-read when the rates settle. Price and platform data come from the store API, so they match what you see on the store page in the same week.

Pages carry a checked date in the footer. A page older than a month is a candidate for re-verification, which matters most for the release date and patch notes pages.

What the site does not do

  • It does not publish a fabricated level list. Argonaut advertises "over 40 levels" and four villages; the individual level names are not part of the public material, so they are not here.
  • It does not invent collectible totals beyond the numbers the achievements state (999 crystals, 100 crystals per level).
  • It does not post codes. The game has no code system.
  • It does not cover multiplayer, because there is none.
