Croc and a Gobbo stand in a decorated room with a snow globe on a table

Three reading routes

First playthrough. Beginner guide → Controls → Moves and triple jump → The four villages → Guardians and bosses when a fight stops you.

Completion run. Achievements first, because the table tells you which tasks are rare and which are free → Collectibles for the counters → Hard mode for the classic-difficulty Golden Gobbo → Items before the no-hit fights.

Buying decision. Platforms and price → System requirements if you are on PC → Steam Deck if you are on a handheld → Original vs remaster if you played the 1999 game.

How these pages are sourced

Every page is built from Steam store data, the Steam achievement list, Argonaut's own descriptions and news posts, or official screenshots. Where the public material stops — individual level names, exact collectible totals beyond the achievement numbers, console prices — the page stops too rather than filling the gap. The about page explains the method.

Steam global achievement rates quoted across these pages are checked 2026-10-31.
